    1. What is the Printing Process?

    All original hand painted posters (painted on A2 size paper) are firstly scanned at high resolution & colour matched. Specialist inks are then used in the printing process to replicate the original paint colours.

    2. How Detailed are the Prints?

    The prints reflect the organic nature of the original posters which are hand sketched & painted using mostly acrylic paint. The prints will include & show to some extent: pencil marks, brush strokes, small paint blobs, slight smudges & often lots of dots!

    3. What Paper is Used?

    Large prints (A1 & A2 size) are printed on smooth, matt white, 230 gsm (grams per square metre) paper. Smaller prints (A3, A4 & A5 size & postcards) are printed on heavyweight, matt white, 350 gsm paper, which has a smooth card like feel to it.

    4. How are the Prints Packaged?

    Large prints (A1 & A2) are wrapped in tissue paper & rolled in strong cardboard postal tubes. Smaller prints (A3, A4, A5 & postcards) are placed in cellophane bags & packed in hardboard backed envelopes. This is to ensure that the prints arrive in the best possible condition.

    5. How about Postage?

    There is free UK postage on all UK orders. Please contact me for any orders requiring EU or international shipping. Please note that any import duties or taxes will be the responsibility of the customer upon arrival into the country/destination of delivery. The prices on this website do not include import duties or taxes.

    6. What are the Delivery Times?

    All orders are sent by Royal Mail tracked 48 service (which aims to deliver within 48 hours, excluding Sundays) & are dispatched on a weekly basis. Large prints (A1 & A0) are printed to order, so please allow an extra 1 to 3 weeks for dispatch. Please email me, if you have a large order or if there is urgency to your order.

    Framing

    All art prints are in standard UK/Europe paper sizes for ease of framing & are supplied unframed. The prints have a small white border within the standard paper size. The border should sit in the frame rebate enabling all of the print to be seen in the frame and no part hidden behind the rebate. This allows most standard size picture frames to be used for framing.

    What is a Rebate?

    A rebate is the area around the inside edge of the picture frame & the outer edges of the print will sit behind this. Rebates vary in size depending upon the frame. The width of the rebate should be checked when choosing a frame without a mount to ensure that the frame does not obscure any of the print.

    Should I Mount the Art Print?

    This is personal preference & often an interior styling choice. The prints can be easily mounted by using (for example) an A3 size frame & mount which accommodates an A4 size print or using an A2 size frame and mount which accommodates an A3 size print etc. Many standard size frames also include mounts.

    Where to Hang an Art Print

    All art prints should ideally be sited away from full exposure to the effects of strong sunlight, harsh artificial lighting, high humidity and/or damp conditions.

    Depth of Colour

    Some designs/prints are more vivid/colourful than others. Please note that the colour settings on your monitor or phone screen may impact or alter the colour of the images on this website. Also everyone sees colour differently!

    Can I make a Return?

    If you are not entirely happy with your order, then please return it within 30 days for a full refund. All prints should be returned in original condition & packaging and you will be responsible for shipping. Please see Refund Policy below for full details.
